About Zaina
I achieved an ATAR of 96.35 and am currently a second-year university student, giving me both strong academic foundations and a recent understanding of the school curriculum. I am familiar with common problem areas in math and how to explain them in a way that makes sense to students.
I take a consistent and organized approach to tutoring. Lessons are planned, punctual, and focused, ensuring students make the most of their time. I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions while still staying on track and productive.

I focus on making maths clear and manageable by breaking concepts down into simple steps and explaining the reasoning behind them. Rather than rushing through content, I make sure students understand the “why,” so they can apply their knowledge confidently in different types of questions.
Each lesson is typically 60 minutes and is tailored to the student’s needs. Sessions may include going over current school topics, working through practice questions, identifying weak areas, and reinforcing key skills. I also help students develop problem-solving strategies and good study habits that carry over into exams.
My lessons are designed for students up to Year 10, whether they need extra support, want to keep up with schoolwork, or are aiming to improve their results. I adjust the pace and difficulty depending on the student’s level to keep them challenged but not overwhelmed.
