About Spencer
I am a dedicated violin educator with 12 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I believe that music education helps students develop focus, confidence, creativity, and valuable life skills.
During my teaching career, I have guided approximately 300-350 students and helped them improve their violin abilities. I enjoy working with students and finding the best ways to support their musical development.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and continuous improvement. I focus on teaching strong violin foundations, including technique, rhythm, tone production, music reading, and performance skills. I also encourage students to enjoy music and express their emotions through playing.
One of my important career achievements has been helping students reach their goals and become more confident musicians. Their progress motivates me to continue providing high-quality violin education.
My mission is to make violin learning a positive and rewarding experience. I want every student to feel inspired, supported, and confident throughout their musical journey.

I teach violin with the belief that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right guidance. My teaching style is built around **Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity**, creating lessons that are practical, encouraging, and personalized.
Lessons focus on developing technical skills including posture, bowing, finger accuracy, rhythm, scales, tone production, music reading, and expressive performance. I explain every topic clearly and provide plenty of opportunities for guided practice.
I understand that students learn at different speeds and in different ways. Therefore, I adapt my lessons using demonstrations, listening activities, repetition, and practical exercises that best suit each learner. My flexible approach helps students build confidence while making steady progress.
Collaboration is encouraged throughout every lesson. Students are invited to ask questions, discuss challenges, and work together with me to achieve realistic learning goals. This creates a supportive and enjoyable classroom experience.
Positivity is one of the most important parts of my teaching. I celebrate every improvement, encourage regular practice, and help students overcome difficulties with confidence. In addition to violin, I teach music theory, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, and performance preparation to help students become complete musicians.
