Teaching Methodology & Techniques My coaching methodology is built on long-term athlete development, intelligent load management, and movement quality. Drawing from over 20 years of high-performance coaching and international instruction, I focus on training how the body moves, not just how much it can lift or endure. Sessions integrate: • Functional strength training • Mobility and joint health work • Stretching and recovery techniques • Cross-training for balance and durability • TRX Suspension Training for core stability and movement control Every program is individualized and progresses logically, reducing injury risk while maximizing sustainable performance. Training is structured, measurable, and adaptable to real life—not cookie-cutter workouts. Typical Lesson Plan (Draft) Each session is customized, but a typical lesson includes: 1. Initial Assessment & Goal Check-in Movement screening, posture, flexibility, previous injuries, and performance goals. 2. Dynamic Warm-Up & Mobility Prep Targeted activation and joint preparation to improve range of motion and reduce strain. 3. Primary Training Block Strength, TRX, or cross-training exercises focused on sport-specific or performance-based goals. 4. Movement Quality & Technique Refinement Coaching cues to improve efficiency, balance, and coordination. 5. Recovery, Stretching & Injury Prevention Mobility, breathing, and recovery strategies to support long-term health. 6. Education & Takeaways Simple explanations so clients understand why they are training a certain way and how to apply it outside the session. What Sets Me Apart? I have: • Coached and developed athletes involved in international competition worldwide • Served as an International Sports Program Director and player development lead • Worked as an international instructor at a Private IB school and Academy in China (references available) • Led, trained, and mentored teams as an employer and on-site trainer. This gained experience and use of vast networks through numerous performance and leadership positions allows me to coach beyond physical output—tailoring programs, helping athletes build mental discipline, body awareness, and increased confidence while avoiding burnout, chronic pain, and overuse injuries.
