About NITHYA
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), majoring in Software, at university. I want to teach because I believe understanding math concepts deeply improves both learning and confidence. I enjoy guiding students through their schoolwork, preparing them for exams, and providing the support I wish I had when I was in high school.
I’ve often helped my sister tackle tricky math questions, which taught me how to explain concepts clearly, patiently, and in ways that make them easier to understand. My lessons are personalized to each student’s needs, focusing on step-by-step explanations and visual learning with diagrams and examples. I tutor Primary students, Years 7–10, and Math Standard 11–12, aiming to build strong foundations, improve problem-solving skills, and help students feel capable and motivated. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment.

As a 2022 high school graduate and current university student, I understand firsthand how challenging maths can feel. My approach to tutoring is simple: break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps so students truly understand what they’re learning — not just memorise formulas.
I strongly focus on visual learning, using diagrams, drawings, and practical examples to make abstract concepts easier to grasp. I believe every student can improve in maths with the right guidance and encouragement. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable space where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s how real learning happens.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs — whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, strengthening weak areas, or building confidence. I work with Primary students, Years 7–10, and Maths Standard 11–12, focusing on strong foundations that lead to long-term success.
