About Shail
Hi, I’m Shail! I’m a Data Scientist with a Master’s in Applied Computer Science and a background in software development. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience working with real-world data, building algorithms, and solving complex problems, which gives me a unique perspective when teaching math and computer science.
I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities and truly understand the concepts behind the formulas and code. I take a patient, step-by-step approach, adapting my lessons to each student’s pace and style so learning is effective, engaging, and even fun.
Whether you’re struggling with high school math, exploring computer science for the first time, or curious about how data science works, my goal is to make sure you not only learn but can apply your knowledge confidently in exams, projects, and beyond.

Hi, I’m Shail! I teach high school math and computer science fundamentals, including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, algorithms, and introductory data science. I believe math is the building block of everything in computer science and data science, so my lessons focus on helping students understand the “why” behind the formulas and concepts, not just how to solve problems. My goal is to make learning clear, practical, and relevant, so students can confidently apply what they learn in exams, projects, or real-world situations.
How I Teach:
I break down tough topics step by step, using examples and visuals to make them easier to grasp
Lessons are interactive. Students practice problems during class, and I guide them along the way
I connect math and computer science concepts to real-world applications, including programming and data science
I adapt my approach to each student’s pace and learning style

I have a Master’s in Applied Computer Science with research experience in data
Currently a Data Scientist, and I also have a year experience as a software developer
I bring real-world insights into math, algorithms, and programming, so students get practical, hands-on understanding.
My lessons are perfect for high school students (Grades 9–12) or anyone starting to explore computer science and data science
