About Michael
Hello!
My name is Michael Meyers and I am a US History teacher in the Blue Springs School District.
Teaching has always been my passion. I have given my time, expertise and care to the young people that I work with everyday-and I wouldn't change anything about that.
I would love to continue working with people trying to better their education even in my time off my official job!
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in History and my Master's of Education both from Truman State University.

I am a high school teacher, so my tutoring lessons would have a defined structure.
My go-to lesson plans will usually start with an activity, question, or problem to get the students attention. We would then move on with the body of the lesson and then have a closure activity towards the end of our session. The closure activity shows me if the lesson worked, and helps me plan for our next session.
I am set apart from other tutors on this site because I have a teaching certificate, and a Master's Degree in Education. I also have thousands of hours of classroom experience.
I am willing to tutor anyone, regardless of grade/subject.
