As a high school honors math student with a year and a half of dedicated tutoring experience, I have a great passion for mathematics and enjoy tutoring and helping other students excel. With a year of experience as a math tutor, my teaching method revolves around helping students understand not just how to solve a problem, but why the math works. A typical 60-minute session with me is structured as: a 5-minute warm-up, 20–25 minutes of core teaching, 25–30 minutes of targeted practice, and a 5-minute wrap-up to review key takeaways. I specialize in working with middle school students through Algebra 1 and Geometry, and can help students get personalized help based on their teacher. What sets my approach apart is my ability to explain a single concept in multiple different ways, allowing me to adapt to each student's unique learning style.
