About Claire
I’m an experienced teacher who wants to carry on inspiring future Classicists in their studies of the subjects I’ve loved since I was at school. I know that the languages can sometimes appear daunting but I believe that they’re logical and beautiful. Classical culture has had so much influence on our own be it through art, architecture, or literature and I look forward to helping enrich students’ understanding.

Lessons will be syllabus-focused but with plenty of time for talking around the subject. I’m equally passionate about the ancient languages and the culture of Greece and Rome and will make grammar come alive as well as discussing literary themes and analysis in depth.
