I have been an English teacher in London for the past 8 years.
Calm, kind and rigorous are the three adjectives I use to describe myself as a teacher. I believe that you don’t need to scream and shout at learners for them to learn. In fact, students are most likely to engage and retain knowledge when they are spoke to with respect and understanding.
