About Will
Hi,
My names is Will, and have been the head of the PE department at a London Sixth Form College for 7 years now.
As a sports fanatic, the subject has always allowed me to combine this passion with my academic interests, particularly Biology and Psychology.
Having completed PE A Level myself- achieving an A grade (no A*s in those days), I know what it takes to achieve the best.
Amazingly the syllabus has not changed much in the 14 years since I took my A Levels!
Since that time, I have gained a degree from Kings College London in Physiology. In addition to this, I am a qualified tennis coach (LTA Level 2) and have played football to a high standard.
My teaching style focuses on keeping the students engaged in the learning process. I place great emphasis on making sure the student understands the subject content, and will provide an excellent set of subject resources accompanied with detail explanations.
My ability to differentiate between the academic strengths of the student enables me to highlight any potential challenges early, and tailor my teaching style accordingly to meet these specific needs.
I look forward to working with students to enhance their learning experience in whatever institution they are currently part of.
