About Steven Wilson
I am the son of a Shropshire farmer who trained as a teacher in Economics and Ecology. I have been practicing permaculture since 1991 and teaching the design certificate course since 2005. In 2016 I extended this to East Africa where I have build up a training and support network for permaculture pioneers. I am based in Wales and teach from my housing co-operative home and I grow locally on a regenerative farm where we are developing our ideas and techniques and have many working examples and experiments to draw from. I am a clear thinker and generally regarded as an excellent teacher, tutor and mentor.
I offer a free session on Tuesday evenings currently for international permaculture pioneers.
I have worked for the Permaculture Association here in Britain, at the Centre for Alternative Technology near Machynlleth and with Reading International Solidarity along the way to becoming self emplyed. I have deep interest in community gardens and a lot of experience working with the general public as well as specialists.

- Opportunities to visit, stay and volunteer on our Farm site
on Powys/ Shropshire border
- Permaculture ethics, principles and design tools fully explained with real world examples and practical demonstrations.
- Become active in local, national and international permaculture networks.
YOu will have the opportunity to plan and design your own project as aprt of the course, recieving support, evaluation and feedback.

I can tailor the training and priorities to suit your requirements. there are more topics than time to cover them all.
I suggest forming a small group of 4-6 people, to create a group dynamic and to share the costs across more than one or two people.
