About Zanoobia
I am a highly experienced and qualified tutor specialising in English Language, English Literature and humanities. I have been teaching for over 5 years and have worked with numerous age groups. My clients have ranged from 4 year old students to adults looking to improve their language skills before an important job interview.
Approach to teaching
I always start by carrying out an initial consultation with the student and parents. Here I ask questions about the student's weaknesses and strengths, past academic record and what they are hoping achieve through the lessons. I then make a detailed plan for the coming weeks. I ensure that the student understands each topic before moving on and continuously ask questions to test their understanding and explore their thinking. I firmly believe every student is capable of getting an A* with the right guidance and set high goals for my students despite what they may have achieved in the past.
