About Timothy
Students in my classes feel safe to make mistakes, confident that I care for them deeply and respected as a learner of a foreign language which I was at once too. I can relate to the struggles which students may face in their school classes, but also serve as a mentor and coach for them to reach out to when in need. By establishing healthy and open communication between parents, student and myself we can form a support team for the benefit of the student to reach their full potential in the language.

Each lesson is personalized and individually prepared in order to maximize the time together during scheduled classes. I accommodate all learners and can adapt lessons so that all students are learning in the way that is a best fit to them.
My training is academic by nature: I hold a Bachelors degree in French from the University of New Hampshire, I also earned a Masters degree in Education from UNH. I studied abroad in France in the spring of 2014 and since then have taught French at a couple different schools in New Hampshire and now in Tennessee.
I have taught all levels from middle school French to AP (students of mine have previously earned 5/5 on the AP French exam).
