About Isabel
Isabel Pachta, born in 1996 in Germany, began her first violin lessons at the age of 3 with the Suzuki Method. At the age of 6 she received lessons from the acknowledged soloist Alban Beikircher, who then became her long term mentor and friend.
Whilst doing her Abitur she took up lessons with Prof. Anke Dill in the Stuttgart Conservatoire and was a pre-student in the Würzburg Conservatoire as a student of Prof. Herwig Zack from 2013-14.
She also had masterclasses with teachers such as Prof. Ingolf Turban (Munich), Prof. Arlette Bonamy (Paris), Kevin Lawrence (North Carolina), Sergio Castro (Madrid/Aragón), Dr. Claudio Forcada (Madrid/London).
Isabel was a member of the National German orchestra "Deutsche Streicher Philharmonie" conducted by Michael Sanderling.
There, she played with acclaimed soloists like Nils Mönkemeyer, Daniel Hope and Julia Fischer.
Since 2015, she is a member of the Munich Chamber Orchestra "DaCapo", conducted by Franz Schottky.
She performed both as a soloist and as a chamber musician in Germany, Rome, Prague, Austria, England and Switzerland.
She played with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in 2019-2020.
Isabel won the Live Music Now scheme in 2022.

I learned to play the violin with the age of 3 with the Suzuki method. I had regular technique lessons with a more traditional western method in addition to the Suzuki method.
This is how I also teach my students. The Suzuki method works extremely well in order to make violin playing a natural habit and in combination with the western method, you will have the optimal outcome.
I teach children as well as adults, from beginners to advanced level studends, who want to get into a music conservatoire.
