About Luken
I am an experienced violin tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, helping students from school level to working professionals learn and improve their skills. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy guiding students through their musical journey.
My teaching philosophy is based on understanding, patience, and consistent practice. I believe that anyone can learn violin with the right approach and dedication. I focus on building a strong foundation by teaching basics such as posture, bow control, rhythm, and note reading. I then guide students towards advanced techniques and musical expression. I also provide regular feedback and practice support to help students improve continuously.
I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have improved their confidence and performance skills. I create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable. My goal is to make violin learning a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

I follow a structured and student-centred teaching approach that makes violin learning simple and effective. I use real-life examples and case studies to explain musical ideas so students can understand and remember them easily.
I focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, scales, and tone production. I teach step by step and ensure students gain a clear understanding before progressing. This helps in building confidence and improving performance.
Communication is very important in my teaching. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and sharing their thoughts. I provide clear guidance and regular feedback to support their learning journey.
I maintain integrity by being honest, dedicated, and supportive. Along with violin, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and basic composition. My goal is to help students develop complete musical skills and enjoy learning.
