About Aby
I am a dedicated student at University Preparatory Academy with a strong academic background in English and over 180 hours of tutoring experience. Throughout my experience working with elementary and middle school students, I have developed the ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and build a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing.
My approach to tutoring is structured yet flexible. I focus on strengthening core skills in reading, writing, and comprehension by breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps. Each session is thoughtfully planned to include review, guided instruction, and independent practice, ensuring that students not only understand the material but can apply it with confidence.

As a tutor, my approach with students is very supportive, patient, and tailored to each student's study and work habits. I deeply focus on building a solid foundation within their abilities to break down concepts that will help later down the road to success. I use examples and real-life connections to make lessons easier to catch on. I also encourage students to ask questions for clarification and think critically so they gain confidence in themselves and their abilities, and not just correct answers. This course is intended for the age groups between elementary and middle school students that want to expand their learning abilities.
