About Umar
Hi, I’m Umar. I’m passionate about helping students truly understand what they’re learning—not just memorize it. I break down complex ideas into simple steps, and I always make sure my lessons are clear, structured, and engaging. I’ve worked with students at different levels, from those needing extra support to those looking for a challenge. Whether it's math, science, or test prep, I tailor each session to the student’s needs and goals. What sets me apart is my patience, clarity, and the way I connect with students. I take the time to explain things in a way that makes sense, and I won’t move on until you really get it. My goal is to help every student feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress.

My Approach as a Tutor
I focus on making hard concepts simple and relatable. My teaching style is interactive and clear—I explain step-by-step, use real examples, and always connect the lesson to what the student already knows.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Quick review of last topic
Clear explanation of the new topic
Practice together
Independent work with feedback
Wrap-up and questions
What makes me different is that I personalize every session. I adapt to the student's pace, focus on building confidence, and keep things engaging.
My lessons are for middle and high school students, especially those studying math or science, whether they’re struggling or ahead. I also help with test prep like the PSAT and SAT.
