About Divyansha
Namaste! I’m Divyansha, a native Hindi speaker and journalism student based in Melbourne. I grew up in India, where I worked in the newsroom at NDTV and as a production intern at All India Radio in Delhi, and I recently completed my Master of Communication (Journalism) at Deakin University.
Hindi and English are both everyday languages for me, so I understand where English speakers get stuck: the script, the sounds that don’t exist in English, and the gap between textbook Hindi and how people actually talk. I also create content for international students in Australia, so explaining things clearly and making them relatable is something I do every day.

My lessons are tailored to why you’re learning, whether that’s:
Conversation: talking with family, a partner’s parents, or friends
Travel: practical phrases and confidence for a trip to India
Reading and writing: learning Devanagari script from scratch
Heritage learners: building on Hindi you understand but don’t speak confidently
Culture and media: Bollywood, news and everyday expressions
Lessons are relaxed and focused on speaking from day one. We’ll use real-life material like conversations, songs, film clips and news, so you learn Hindi the way it’s actually spoken.
Beginners, intermediate learners, kids and adults are all welcome. Lessons are available online.
Let’s start: पहला कदम उठाइए (take the first step)!
