About Elliott

Having graduated in Modern History and Politics from a Russell Group University I fully understand the stress and difficulty of managing a degree.

I am passionate about History and Politics and in my spare time produce my own articles on International Relations, Geopolitics and Modern History post 1939.

I also focus on the basic elements and foundations of academic writing, referencing, essay planning and engagement with existing literature. My own experience has allowed me to be in a position to fully explain and outline these crucial elements of successful academic writing often are overlooked or misunderstood by students.

About the lesson

I aim to not simply get the project done but give students the skills and knowledge to approach further essays systematically and correctly.

Having tutored students through dissertation and final project essays I ensure all projects are firstly planned and understood thoroughly.

Referencing, grammar and the appropriate engagement with literature are essential components that I focus on.

I aim to ensure lessons are broken up into managble sections.

I provide a reading list for students to go through after our lesson to ensure they are progressing well outside of our time together.
