About Miles
I love to teach, and am a perpetual student. I have always been teaching my younger brothers things, and as I became a university student in 2019, tutoring felt natural. My aspirations are to become a lecturer, as I have always found school a fun and safe environment, as well as an important one, where individuals cultivate themselves and their interests. I hope to share all of this with you, as I am enormously passionate about the Humanities; I am well-primed in helping students get into schools and universities, and aim to equip students with the tools to conquer most academic problems, both inside and outside of our lessons.

I have been tutoring for three years now, and have worked with students from KS3 to A-Levels, all with different academic goals. I believe that every student is different, and that the best tutor identifies their student's academic strengths and weaknesses. In a typical lesson, we will produce essay plans, work through your answers and rewrite them, revise content and look at how we can improve your exam technique. I will work the lesson very much around your needs, and help you to gain the marks needed to achieve your academic goals.
Most of my students opt for 1-2 hour lessons; as an undergraduate I am very flexible on timings, and always happy to work to your schedule. I can't wait to meet you, and hope that I can help to build your academic confidence for later life.
