About Ridhwaanah
I am a student intending to study History & Politics at Oxford this year, and I have been tutoring students aged 5-16 for two and a half years. I have taught students 1-1 as well as in classes of up to 15, and none of my students have failed in the past. One of my Year 6 students had progressed from getting Level 2 to a Level 5. I had achieved A* in both English Language and Literature at GCSE and pursued all essay subjects at A-level so I am quite competent in writing and teaching English.

I mostly tutor students at SAT’s level or GCSE level, both 1-1 and groups of students, although I have noticed that I teach groups of up to 5 particularly well. My teaching method tends to interactive and in depth, for example for GCSE English Literature, dissecting and taking apart pieces of text and encouraging my students to think outside of the box. I enjoy allowing my students to unravel their own thoughts and ideas rather than simply giving them the answer and telling them what to do as this enables them to polish and develop the coherency of their own thinking processes.
