About Caleb
I am a recent PGCE graduate who is truly passionate about History. From a young age I was enthralled by the past, and it's that passion I want to inspire in my students. My degree was based in International Politics as well as Military History, giving me an in-depth understanding of modern history to complement my Ancient History expertise. My A-Levels and extra-curricular activities have focused on Ancient and Classical History giving me a wide range of interests and breadth of knowledge. I always wanted to be a teacher, and love my time in teaching. I enjoy seeing students improve and excel under my guidance.
My other interests Include sport and film, with a particular passion for rugby and football and a background in advertising production.

I focus on student's Schemas, on understanding what a student's weaknesses are and helping to target those specifially for subject and exam improvement. I believe it is equally important to work on skills as it is to work on knowledge. Having recently completed my PGCE in History and Humanities, my teaching is reflective of the most recent ideas in teaching. I enjoy utilising Initial Stimulus Material (ISM) as I prioritise student engagement in my lessons. I have completed my PGCE with placements at two Oustanding Central London schools.
My lessons are primarily aimed at KS3 and KS4, however I have a high level of knowledge of A-Level topics and am more than happy to provide tutoring for A-Level exams.
