About Owen
I am a History undergraduate at a UK university with a strong academic interest in developing critical historical understanding and analysis of content.
I am passionate about helping students develop their knowledge on the content of the topics they are studying, as well as improving their ability to answer exam questions and analyse sources.
Through my personal experience taking GCSEs and A-Levels in recent years, I know the best ways to study the content and use that knowledge to succeed in exams.
There are many things that I wish I could go back in time and tell GCSE/A-Level me that would've helped my skills develop much quicker.
This is my chance to pass this information onto the next generation of students, and allow them to see history as an enjoyable subject in which they feel confident studying.

Due to being in the same situation as GCSE and A-Level students in relatively recent years, I understand thoroughly the process of learning History, and what is required to ensure success.
My lessons will focus on developing strong essay writing skills, formulating arguments that are coherent and effective, and beneficial revision techniques for both GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Each session will tailor to the specific needs of the student, whether that's improving grades, building confidence in essay writing or revising key academic content.
