About Boitumelo

Hello! I am Boitumelo, an MPhil Fellow and laboratory scientist with expertise in biomedical science and infectious diseases like HIV, COVID-19, Hepatitis B, only to mention a few. I am passionate about making complex science accessible and engaging for students at all levels. With hands-on experience in research and lab work, I bring real-world knowledge into each lesson. My goal is to help you build confidence, understand key concepts, and apply them in practical ways. Whether it’s biology, mathematics, or HIV studies, I tailor each session to your needs, ensuring you gain both understanding and confidence.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I use a student centered, interactive approach tailored to your learning style and academic level. I simplify complex concepts in Science, Biology, Mathematics, and infectious diseases using real-world examples from my work as a laboratory scientist and MPhil Fellow in medical sciences.

With a strong background in HIV, COVID-19, Hepatitis B, and other infectious diseases, I integrate practical and research-based perspectives to make lessons engaging and relevant. Whether you're in secondary school, an undergraduate science/health program, or need help preparing for exams or research, I adapt each lesson to support your growth.

A typical lesson begins with a brief recap or check-in, followed by a focused explanation of key topics using diagrams, analogies, and discussion. I prioritize active learning, guiding you through problem-solving, critical thinking, and building confidence. We end each session with a summary and personalized tips for revision or further study.

What sets me apart is my real-world laboratory experience, my passion for science communication, and my ability to make complex biological systems more relatable. I strive to create a safe, encouraging environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
