About Joshua
As a first-generation American, the first in my family to graduate college, and now a law student, I know what it means to have grit, struggle, and make it on the other side! Spanish is my native language—learned at home and through childhood years in Colombia and Panama—but I grew up in the U.S. So, I can relate to English speakers, both on a cultural and linguistic level, and dispense what I know English speakers need when trying to learn Spanish. Unlike tutors who learned Spanish later in life, I teach the language as it’s truly spoken, without textbook fluff. But because I’m fluent in both worlds, my students never feel disconnected. Whether you’re mastering basics or polishing fluency, I’ll meet you where you are—with patience, authenticity, and zero judgment!
