About Michelle

I have extensive experience working with children. I have worked as an au pair in America; a resident charge-mistress in a hostel at a prestigious school in South Africa and I have over 11 years classroom teaching experience.

I love the English language. I studied journalism and worked as both a journalist and as a copy-editor at a newspaper before deciding to complete my degree in Education. I am currently completing a further 420 hour Tefl diploma to better enable me to teach English as a foreign language.

I believe that language learning should be fun. I can’t wait to have fun with you and see your progress.

About the lesson

Every student is unique and has their own distinctive learning style and goals. I am adaptive in my teaching methods to ensure that those goals and learning styles are met and catered for.

Lessons are tailored to suit the age and needs of each individual student and can include game-based learning, discussions or a workbook-oriented approach.

Lessons are 1 hour long for adults. As younger children could struggle to sit through an hour long lesson, I am willing to divide the hour up into two 30 minute sessions for the same price.
