About Cody

With a Master's degree in French Language and Literature, I've taught both children and adults across classroom and online settings. Over the past six years, I've helped learners pass exams, succeed in interviews, and communicate confidently during international travel or relocation. My lessons are interactive and always student-focused. I encourage curiosity, use real-world content, and adapt methods to each learner's strengths. I strongly believe language learning should be both structured and enjoyable—balancing precision with playfulness to keep motivation high. Outside of teaching, I've lived and studied in France, which has enriched my lessons with real cultural nuance. I also continue attending language teaching workshops to stay updated on effective learning strategies. Helping students truly feel the French language is my greatest reward.

About the lesson

Each lesson is structured to establish a solid language foundation, starting with pronunciation, basic grammar, and essential vocabulary. Beginners will gain comfort with greetings, sentence structures, and everyday expressions. The learning pace is always tailored, ensuring you feel confident before advancing to more complex concepts.

For intermediate learners, we focus on refining sentence construction, tenses, and comprehension through guided dialogues, listening tasks, and storytelling. Emphasis is placed on spontaneous speaking, reading real French materials, and writing short texts to expand your comfort with varied linguistic contexts.

Advanced sessions explore nuanced grammar, idiomatic expressions, and structured debates or presentations. We analyze authentic French literature, films, and articles, encouraging deep cultural understanding. These lessons are ideal for exam preparation, travel, or professional use where fluent, polished language is needed.
