I do not tutor for impressive resumes, nor for graduation requirements. I tutor because there is no better feeling than watching an intelligent mind come to life when they realize that they are capable of so many great things, when only the right lesson is placed into their hands by somebody who understands.
There is so much beauty, wisdom, and strength in the simplest of texts. I believe every human deserves to experience the joy of this.

I have always believed a good teacher never sticks to only one way of teaching! Every student learns differently, which is why I strive to incorporate several different approaches to learning. Most importantly, I will listen to my students. They know their brain best, and I work hard to personalize lesson plans I know will be engaging and effective.
I will not waste a student’s time, reciting a textbook word for word. I will use methods that have proven successful in classrooms and my own creativity to ensure my students will explore the beauty of knowledge in a way that will stick with them!
