About Sarah
I have been teaching German for over twelve years and have nearly five years of German private tutoring experience, having previously worked for seven years as Head of German at an outstanding secondary school. I am experienced in tutoring across a very wide age and ability range - from primary level to retired adults, tutoring for GCSE, A-level and degree level exams, as well as for business purposes or simply for pleasure.
I am an enthusiastic, well-organised, creative and supportive teacher. I relish the opportunity to help students achieve their goals, whatever they may be. I thrive on the kick I get from having successfully delivered a well planned lesson, tailored to individual needs, knowing that my students are making excellent progress and enjoying their learning experience.

Sarah has many years of teaching experience and taught both our teenage children French and GCSE German at school. Sarah is one of the most positive and encouraging teachers it has been our privilege to meet and she brought out the best in our very different children. Our daughter has been so inspired by Sarah's teaching that she now has weekly tuition with Sarah to maintain and build on her GCSE German, just for the sheer pleasure of learning. The tutoring sessions are always well planned, upbeat and interesting, using a wide variety of sources, so that our daughter enjoys improving her skills.
