He worked with me on exactly what I wanted to get out guitar playing and built the lessons around me. He is extremely knowledgeable and helps to explain new topics in a digestible way, makes it fun to learn, and has made me a much better player. Never have I felt judged by him, as he clearly understands the struggles one might face in their musical journey. Perfect! My daughter was hesitant to do virtual classes, but Ian has been fabulous! I bought her lessons for Christmas and now she's working more instructions into her budget. I'm also planning to purchase guitar lessons in the future. We will definitely continue using Ian's services!

I hired him in November, in a panic to learn a song to play for my family as a surprise by Christmas - he got me started right away and my family was surprised and impressed! Perfect! My three kids (7yrs, 7yrs, 9yrs) have been taking ukelele lessons with Ian for about 9 months now and love it. He is extremely reliable, timely and organized. We have had both in-person and online lessons with Ian and would definitely recommend him. It's great to see my kids picking up an instrument on their own now, for fun. :)

Perfect! Ian is a wonderful teacher. He knows his subject and just as important how to impart that knowledge to his student. He has also been very patient with me as I have some health issues that sometimes gets in the way, Ian is understanding and empathetic (more good qualities for a teacher). I’m enjoying my lessons and see real progress since coming under his tutelage. 5 stars, no doubt about it!

Perfect! Ian is so patient with my seven year old son. He challenges him on muical theory and has a repertoire that my son can easily grasp and maintain. We love Ian’s “studio”, especially the chair in the shape of a hand! Ian is a cool dude, and we are very happy with the service we’ve been provided.
