About Megan

I attended Resurrection University earning a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. While in school, I workeda as a peer tutor for classes that I had already finished. I continued working as a tutor after graduation and into my working career.

I have worked on an ICU Step-Down unit at a level one trauma center, and I currently work in ICU at a level two trauma center. I love what I do, and I search for more learning opportunities daily!

About the lesson

If your basics aren't crystal clear, how are you supposed to build on and master more complicated concepts? With nursing school, it can be so easy to fall behind because you didn't grasp a concept.

I work with students to identify where the knowledge gap originates, close that gap, and help them grasp more complex concepts through visual aids, examples, practice questions, and creating connections with other concepts.

My favorite part of tutoring is seeing and hearing the "lightbulb" moment. Being part of that makes all the effort worth it!

Perfect! Meg made it super easy to put the pieces together and understand the concepts. Going over material with her that I’ve already gone over a million times, I had lots of ah ha moments where things just clicked. I passed my exam scoring higher than expected after tutoring with her!
