About Diletta

Hi everyone! :) I have a long background of dance study including a degree in Musical Theatre, an experience at Alvin Ailey in New York, a lot of exams (RAD,VAGANOVA), competitions and a lot more. I am a certified IDTA teacher. Currently I am a jazz and heels teacher located in London. If you are looking for a professional teacher who would push you to do always better and better you are on the perfect page! A world of discipline and deep learning is waiting for you!

About the lesson

Subjects: Wedding First Dance, Stretching, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Heels, Tap (Beginners)

I offer standard 1:1 dance lessons at £60/hour. A £10 travel supplement applies for locations over 1 hour away.

Wedding first dance coaching is £72/hour for home-based sessions and £82/hour for studio-based sessions.

For highly tailored private sessions, intensive coaching, or choreography work, pricing is based on duration, preparation, and the level of personalisation required.

I also offer open group pop-up heels classes at £13 per class.

Each session is adapted to the student’s level and goals. I always begin with a warm-up to prepare the body, improve mobility, and build awareness. The rest of the class is then shaped around your focus, whether that is technical development, strength and control, or choreography and performance. I place strong emphasis on musicality, confidence, and expressive movement, helping students feel more connected to their bodies as they develop their dance skills.

Perfect! Diletta is an excellent teacher. She has a great energy about her, and loads of enthusiasm about what she does. She’s very encouraging; she’s very clear in her instructions; and she’s very patient (this was important in my case). Highly recommended!

I've been working with Diletta and I can confirm that she is both an experienced professional dancer and an excellent teacher. I'm happy to say that she is highly committed to teaching and that her approach to work is exemplary. Diletta always works hard to ensure the students always get the most from their time with her and she is capable to build an excellent rapport with her students. From a management point of view she is extremely flexible and accommodating. For these and many other reasons I do not hesitate to reccomend Diletta!

Learn more about Diletta

What age did you start dancing? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.
I started dancing when I was five years old. My cousin was attending these dance classes, and I was curious, so I wanted to try it too. As soon as I entered that school, my destiny was sealed.
What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?
For me, dance is a constant journey of discovery where one never stops learning. In addition to dance, I also have a passion for table tennis, cycling, and swimming.
What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue dance?
My body and my dance serve as a reflection of my life journey, which is why I continue to pursue it. It is a significant part of who I am and acts as a means to discover and connect with myself.
Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?
I would say that each step has held significant meaning for me.
How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?
Achievements serve as a reminder that the effort and hard work invested are truly worthwhile. They provide a sense of fulfilment and encourage me to take on even greater challenges. In fact, overcoming challenges often serves as a catalyst, propelling me forward and motivating me to tackle new and exciting endeavours.
If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?
I would go for a jog with a dancer, and that would be Josephine Baker. I would ask her life prospective and take a trip in the past with her.
How do you help people stay motivated?
I like to remind people of their potential and the positive impact that different disciplines can have on their lives.
What makes you a Superprof in dance?
My experience and my willingness to grow, as well as to help others grow.
