About Carla

I have been teaching children and adults individually and in groups in person since 2016 and online in the last two years. I have experience in teaching beginners, intermediate and advanced students. I specialise in casual, Business English and helped students to pass exams such as IGSCE, IELTS, TOEFL and for the Italian language I helped students with exams such as CILS Uno, Due, Tre e Quattro.
My classes are special and exciting as I tend to focus on the needs of my students. Whatever your goals are, whether it is pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, conversation or to pass an exam, I will be next to you to help you achieve the best results. You will be very satisfied with my teaching methods and approach as I am a very friendly, enthusiastic and a happy person who at the same time is very professional.

About the lesson

I have been teaching individually and in groups for more than two years with success. I am aware of student’s needs, so I use teaching methods that improve what students request and want to achieve, for example, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation or writing. I tend to know my students' background and character, so I can choose which topics to use in class. I expose students to the language as much as possible by using videos, songs and games for example. I encourage activities outside the classroom such as watching films in the language, reading books or interact with foreigners who can speak the language.
