About Phoebe

I am currently a final-year student at Monash University majoring in Econometrics and Accounting. Alongside tutoring, I have also worked as a Research Assistant in finance and empirical economics research, where I was involved in data analysis, forecasting models and academic research tasks.

Through both university study and tutoring experience, I have developed a strong interest in helping students understand Economics in a clearer and more structured way. I understand that many students struggle not only with concepts, but also with confidence and academic pressure. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can gradually build both understanding and problem-solving skills.

I enjoy working with students who are willing to learn and improve step by step, whether they are preparing for exams or strengthening their foundation in Economics.

About the lesson

I am currently a Monash University student majoring in Econometrics and Accounting, and I offer online IGCSE Economics lessons in both English and Chinese.

My lessons are personalised based on each student’s level and learning pace. For students who are new to Economics or struggle with English terminology, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding and helping them become familiar with important economics vocabulary step by step.

I also prepare customised notes, practice questions and exam-focused explanations to help students improve both their understanding and answering techniques. My teaching style is patient, structured and interactive, with close attention given to each student even in small group lessons.
