About Soumya

I am a result-focused trigonometry tutor for IB and IGCSE Grade 9–10 students who need clear teaching, not vague shortcuts.
My strength is breaking down difficult ideas into simple steps so students actually understand what they are doing.

I am strong at building fundamentals before moving to harder problems.

I am good at helping students handle mixed questions, graphs, and application-based problems.

I focus on regular practice, doubt clearing, and exam-style preparation.

My aim is to help students improve both confidence and marks, not just “understand the chapter”.

The goal is simple: make trigonometry easy to follow, easy to practice, and easy to score in exams.

I am based out of Mumbai, India and I take classes in online mode only.

About the lesson

Trigonometry classes are built for IB and IGCSE students who want solid concept clarity and exam-ready problem solving.
The focus is on making ratios, identities, and applications feel logical instead of memorized.

Topics covered: trigonometric ratios, identities, angles of elevation and depression, right-angled triangles, graphs, and exam-style word problems.

Teaching method: concept explanation, worked examples, guided practice, and timed questions.

Exam focus: clean step-by-step solving, accuracy under pressure, and avoiding common mistakes.

Customization: lessons are adapted to the student’s syllabus, school pace, and target grade.

Each class ends with a short recap and targeted practice so students know exactly what to revise before the next lesson.
