About Riya

I’m a concept-driven and student-focused teacher who believes that true learning comes from understanding, not memorization. My approach is built around working closely with each student, recognizing that everyone learns differently and adapting my teaching style accordingly.

I specialize in breaking down complex ideas into simple, intuitive concepts. I often use a question-driven (Socratic) approach, where we begin with thoughtful questions and build toward answers together. This not only strengthens conceptual clarity but also helps students develop confidence and independent thinking.

I maintain a structured yet flexible teaching environment—balancing clarity, patience, and engagement. My sessions are well-organized, interactive, and tailored to ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating.

Students can expect:

Clear explanations and strong conceptual foundations
A personalized learning experience based on their pace and needs
A supportive and professional environment
Consistent guidance, feedback, and progress tracking

Whether you’re looking to strengthen fundamentals, improve academic performance, or build deeper understanding, my goal is to help you learn in a way that is both effective and enjoyable.

About the lesson

1. My teaching approach is highly student-centric. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods based on how each individual understands concepts. I work closely with the student to find what works best for them.

A key method I use is a question-driven approach (inspired by the Socratic Method). I often begin with questions and then guide students toward the answers by helping them build the underlying concepts. This not only improves understanding but also develops critical thinking.

2. Usual Structure of a Class
Understanding the student’s current level and gaps
Introducing the core concept in a simple and intuitive way
Gradually moving into details and deeper understanding
Solving problems or applying the concept
Recap and clarification of doubts

3. My Special Features as a Teacher
Strong focus on conceptual clarity over rote learning
Ability to adapt to different learning styles
Patient and supportive teaching style
Emphasis on building confidence along with knowledge

4. Intended Audience
My classes are suitable for:
School students building foundational understanding
College students who want clarity in concepts
Anyone who prefers a concept-driven, personalized learning approach
