• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I teach Physics and Mathematics, two subjects that have always fascinated me due to their logical nature and ability to explain the world around us. My interest in these fields developed during my own school years, where I found joy in solving complex problems and understanding the laws of nature. Over time, this interest deepened as I pursued further studies and began helping others grasp these concepts. Teaching these subjects allows me to pass on my enthusiasm and make learning an exciting journey for my students.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My motivation to teach stems from the desire to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in young minds. While working in a corporate environment, I often mentored colleagues and realized how much I enjoyed explaining concepts and guiding others. This made me realize that teaching was my true passion. By helping students excel in Physics and Maths, I aim to spark a love for these subjects and help them build strong analytical skills, which are essential not just academically but also in life.

• How does your work help society?

  Teaching Physics and Maths to students plays a crucial role in shaping future problem solvers. These subjects are foundational to many fields, including engineering, technology, and finance. By teaching students to think logically and approach problems methodically, I am helping to develop the critical thinking skills needed to tackle real-world challenges. Educating the youth in these subjects also contributes to creating a more knowledgeable and innovative society.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  One of my role models in teaching is Richard Feynman, the Nobel Prize-winning physicist who was known for his ability to explain complex ideas in simple and engaging ways. Feynman's enthusiasm for learning and teaching, as well as his famous lectures, have always inspired me. His approach reminds me of the importance of making learning fun and accessible to students, no matter how challenging the subject.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading books on science and mathematics, which helps me stay updated with new developments and techniques. I also love outdoor activities like hiking, as they allow me to unwind and find inspiration in nature. Additionally, I enjoy puzzles and logic games, which keep my mind sharp and help me approach problems from different perspectives-skills I also try to instill in my students.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One of my most memorable experiences was tutoring a student who initially struggled with Mathematics. They were anxious about exams and felt they could never understand the subject. With patience and a tailored teaching approach, I helped them break down complex problems into manageable steps. Over time, I saw their confidence grow, and they eventually excelled in their exams. That transformation solidified my belief that with the right guidance and encouragement, any student can succeed, which is why I love teaching.
