About UDAY
I qualified for IIT-JEE in 2008 and joined 5 year integrated Masters in Chemistry at IIT Bombay. I finished my degree in 2013. Since then I have been very passionate about teaching chemistry to school students. The exposure which I got while preparing for IIT-JEE in Kota and during my 5 year study period at IIT Bombay has left me with profound fascination for chemistry. Being exposed to some amazing teachers during my own study I was always fascinated by the idea of becoming a teacher one day. I intend to kindle the same love, wonder, appreciation, and fascination for chemistry in my students which I am fortunate to have by the grace of some wonderful teachers in my life.

My way of teaching is concept and logic focused with lots of solved examples and with less emphasis on rote learning. I use images, GIFs, videos, and models wherever possible to enhance the visual aspect of the learning process which is extremely effective.
The class starts with first checking if all the concepts covered in the previous class were clear or not. Then an overview of the concepts to be covered in the current class is given. The class happens in an interactive way where the student is continuously prompted so that he/she is completely involved. I make sure the class is a two way communication.
Expect a friendly environment in the class but at the same time not being lax about any aspect of the learning process.
I am looking forward to teaching school students upto grade 12.
