About Vadim

Hey, I’m Vadim! I’m a native Russian speaker, and I’m definitely not the guy who’ll make you stare at grammar tables for an hour.

I love meeting people from different countries and talking about everything from travel, business and technology to movies, relationships, crazy ideas and everyday life. I want you to feel comfortable speaking Russian with me, making mistakes, asking “stupid” questions and actually enjoying the process.

Think of me as your Russian friend who also happens to notice your mistakes, explain why something sounds weird, and teach you how Russians actually speak in real life.

About the lesson

Forget boring grammar drills — my lessons are built around real Russian you can actually use. We talk about topics you care about, from travel, shopping and relationships to business, movies or anything you want to bring to the lesson.

While we talk, I catch your mistakes, explain them simply, and show you how a native speaker would actually say the same thing. We’ll learn useful phrases, idioms, slang, texting abbreviations and the difference between “technically correct” Russian and Russian that sounds Russian.

We’ll also role-play real situations and keep bringing useful expressions back into future conversations until they become natural. You can even choose the topic for our next lesson — because Russian is much easier to learn when you actually want to talk.
