About Laura

I am a biologist with a Master's degree in Immunology and experience in both teaching and clinical laboratory work. Throughout my career, I have worked in environments where precision, responsibility, and methodology are fundamental, and these same values are what I bring to my classes. I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others understand subjects that can sometimes seem complex or overwhelming. For me, sharing knowledge is not just about explaining a syllabus, but about guiding students so they understand the logic behind what they are studying, gain confidence, and progress with a solid foundation. I want to share my passion for biology and health sciences because I believe that when taught clearly and rigorously, they cease to be seen as difficult subjects and become invaluable tools for understanding the world. I am seriously involved in every class and strive to create a learning environment where students feel supported, motivated, and capable of progressing. As a teacher, I am defined by patience, organization, approachability, and a genuine commitment to each student's development.

About the lesson

My teaching style is based on three pillars: clarity, structure, and adaptation to the student. I like to explain concepts in an understandable way, relating theory to concrete examples so that learning is solid and not rote. As a biologist with teaching and professional experience in the laboratory, I place great importance on reasoning, methodology, and scientific precision. My classes are adapted to each student's level, pace, and objectives. First, I identify their existing knowledge, difficulties they face, and areas they need to reinforce. From there, I organize the sessions progressively, combining theoretical explanation, addressing doubts, applied exercises, and active review to consolidate knowledge. An example of a class would be: a brief review of previous material, a guided explanation of the topic, application exercises or questions, reasoned feedback, and a closing summary of key ideas. My goal as a teacher is for students to truly understand the subject matter, gain confidence, and become more self-assured when tackling new content independently. My classes are aimed at students who need support in biology and related subjects, especially at the secondary, high school, vocational, or early university levels, depending on the topic. I am known for being a responsible, patient, methodical teacher, committed to the student's actual progress.
