About Joss
Hi, I'm Joss.
I've been teaching Maths, Further Maths and Physics to students of all abilities for 3 years, specialising in preparing students for GCSE, IGCSE and A-level examinations. I have extensive experience in teaching the GCSE Maths qualification from start to finish and I am skilled in helping A-level Maths students with their approach to the more challenging, problem-solving-type examination questions.
I'm a 4th year undergraduate at Imperial College London studying Physics. I dropped 6 marks out of 600 in Maths-A level, and scored 100% in 6 out of 12 modules across Maths and Further Maths A-level and thus, I fully understand what it takes to raise your grades in these respective courses.
I typically teach in person around central London. However, I also offer online tuition via the Idroo online interactive platform, which I use on a weekly basis to teach the GCSE maths syllabus remotely. This digital technology is quick and easy to use for both the student and myself, and allows the student to see everything I write.
Having spent 1 year conducting my Master's Research Project on gravitationally lensed Supernovae at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, I am also able to offer tuition of the Maths and Physics GCSE and A-level courses in French.
