About Ananya
I’ve been working with C++ since 2013, and I truly believe that once your foundations are strong, everything else in programming becomes so much easier. I’m a postgraduate from Imperial College London, where I studied Environmental Data Science and Machine Learning. I’ve also worked as a C# developer at Capgemini and taught JavaScript-based game development at an EdTech company. My sessions are about 45 minutes to an hour long and are focused on strengthening your core understanding of programming. I keep things hands-on, interactive, and supportive, helping you not just learn to code, but think like a programmer.

When I teach, my main goal is to build a rock-solid foundation for my students. I’ve been learning and working with since 2013, and one thing I’ve learnt over the years is this: if your fundamentals are strong, everything else in programming becomes much easier. So rather than just rushing through syntax or cramming concepts, I focus on making sure you really understand what’s going on under the hood. I like to keep my lessons practical and interactive. We’ll write code together, break things on purpose, and then fix them. That hands-on approach helps you build confidence and a deeper understanding of how C++ works. I also encourage questions—lots of them—because asking “why” is the fastest way to grow as a programmer. Lesson Structure: A typical session runs about 45 minutes to an hour. That’s long enough to dive deep into a topic, but short enough to keep things clear and focused. Who My Lessons Are For: My sessions are great for anyone who wants to build a strong background in coding, whether you’re just starting out or you’ve done a bit of programming before but want to get serious. Age doesn’t really matter—what matters is curiosity and a willingness to learn.
