About Caspar
I am a fourth-year Physics with Theoretical Physics MSci student at Imperial College London, with a strong interest in the deeper mathematical structure of physics and in how complex ideas can be communicated clearly.
Alongside my degree, I founded and host The Galileo Interviews, a science-communication project in which I speak with leading researchers about work at the frontiers of physics, mathematics and technology. This has sharpened my ability to ask precise questions, identify the essential idea within a difficult topic and explain it in a way that is both accurate and engaging.
I enjoy working with students who are curious, ambitious or simply frustrated by explanations that have not yet clicked. My aim is not only to help them improve their grades, but to make the subject feel more coherent, interesting and manageable.

My lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to the individual student. Rather than teaching students to memorise procedures, I focus on the reasoning behind each method: how to recognise the structure of a problem, identify the relevant principles and build a clear solution independently.
A typical lesson begins by diagnosing the precise point at which a topic has become unclear. We then rebuild the idea through discussion, diagrams and carefully chosen examples before progressing to guided problems and exam-style questions. I encourage students to explain their reasoning aloud, which helps uncover misconceptions and develops the clarity needed for both calculations and written answers.
Lessons are usually one hour, although the format can be adapted to the student’s concentration, goals and timetable. Each session is planned around their current needs, whether that means repairing gaps in foundational knowledge, consolidating schoolwork, preparing for an examination or extending a high-achieving student beyond the standard material.
I am a fourth-year Physics with Theoretical Physics student at Imperial College London and have five years of experience tutoring Physics, Mathematics and Further Mathematics, both online and in person. I teach GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level students, including those rebuilding confidence, those with additional learning or processing needs, and those aiming for the highest grades.
