About Lionel
Hello everyone! My name is Lionel, and I am your English reading tutor.
I teach because I believe reading is the key to learning everything else. When you can read well, you can understand, imagine, and express yourself with confidence.
I enjoy helping students improve their reading skills step by step—learning new words, pronouncing them correctly, and understanding what they read. I know that reading can sometimes feel difficult, but my goal is to make it easier, enjoyable, and stress-free for you.
In my lessons, it’s okay to make mistakes—that’s how we learn. I’m here to support you, encourage you, and help you grow into confident readers.

As an English reading tutor, I help learners develop strong reading skills by focusing on phonics, vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and fluency. I adapt my lessons to the learner’s level and encourage confidence through guided reading and discussion.I support learners who struggle with reading by breaking lessons into simple, clear steps. I use phonics, short passages, repetition, and encouragement to help learners improve fluency and comprehension at their own pace.
