About Anthony

Hello, I'm Anthony - but you can call me Ant.

I am a specialist in Drama and surrounding subjects. I am a theatre director, and have taken plays up to the Edinburgh Fringe festival. If you need help with performance skills, studying plays, or help with public speaking then I'm your guy. I'm happy to watch and give guidance on drama school entrance monologues. Or even if you're keen to get involved in your local amateur group, I will give you the skills you need to impress and get the parts you want.

I have a Masters in Theatre Directing, and have taught acting and performance skills from school and extra curricular up to degree level. I will increase your confidence, skills, and challenge you at your own pace.

I studied Scriptwriting and Performance, and am an experienced script editor and dramaturge, should you want help with your own writing

I can also help your understanding of a play text; through dialogue and discussion. If you need help improving your reading skills, comprehension, or just need a pre-exam boost, I will help with patience, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Not to mention close textual analysis.

Anthony is a natural tutor. He helped me so much, I moved from people saying that I was 'fine' or 'ok' on stage to 'brilliant' and 'great'. The tuition was practical and fun, and he provides a very accepting atmosphere. He makes you feel good about yourself and the struggle you go through, you laugh and move forward at an amazingly rapid pace. I recommend him to anyone who would like to improve their skills in a positive and encouraging environment. He is a great teacher, one I wish was still near enough for me to learn from!
