• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  As a business communication and confidence coach my interest for the field developed from a passion of helping others unlock their potential through affective communication and self-assurance. Over the years, I realised people were great at their work but were underconfident with their communication, that led to poor self -esteem and losing out on opportunities. Ever since, I’ve always wanted to empower young adults and professionals overcome challenges with their articulation, communication and self-confidence, enable them to master verbal and non -skills, to build an executive presence to inspire and influence others affectively.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My motivation for choosing to teach as a business communication and confidence coach comes from observing how many talented individuals miss out on opportunities simply because they lack confidence or struggle to communicate effectively. It has always felt disheartening to see potential go unrealized for reasons that can be improved with the right guidance.
  I chose this path because I genuinely believe that communication and confidence are life-changing skills. Helping people overcome these challenges and step into their fullest potential gives me immense fulfilment. Coaching allows me to empower others, and seeing my clients grow, succeed, and believe in themselves reinforces my sense of purpose. My hope is that the transformation they experience creates a ripple effect—spreading positivity and self-belief far beyond our coaching sessions.

• How does your work help society?

  My work as a communication and confidence coach helps society by empowering individuals to express themselves more clearly and confidently. By enhancing their communication skills, people become more self-assured and develop a stronger sense of self-belief. This positive transformation opens doors to greater personal and professional opportunities, allowing them to pursue and achieve their goals more effectively.
  Through this process, I also help create a flow of positivity that extends beyond individuals—strengthening relationships, improving workplace cultures, and fostering a more understanding and supportive society overall.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My role model is life coach Puja Puneet. She started her journey as a school principal but discovered her true calling in helping people find clarity and peace in their lives. Her transition from education to life coaching inspired me deeply because it showed how purpose can evolve when you listen to your inner calling.
  I first heard her speak at a coaching summit, and her words instantly connected with me. She spoke with such authenticity and passion about personal transformation that it made me reflect on my own growth journey. Later, I began to apply some of her techniques in my daily life and saw real progress—not just in productivity but in finding balance and meaning in my work.
  Having learned directly under her, I witnessed how genuinely she uplifts others and how her approach is rooted in giving and gratitude.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside of teaching, my hobbies centre around activities that bring joy and balance to my life. I love travelling and exploring new places, cultures, and cuisines—especially beach destinations, as being near water always brings me a sense of peace. I also enjoy Pilates and working out; they help me stay grounded and make both my mind and body feel enriched. Dancing is my instant pick-me-up—it lifts my spirits and lets me express myself freely.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  When I was younger, I often felt underconfident about my body, which affected how I communicated and presented myself. I realized that to change this, I had to work on both my physical and mental self. Through setting clear goals, being consistent, and practicing gratitude daily, I started a journey of transformation. Using positive affirmations and rewiring my mind, I shifted my inner narrative from doubt to confidence. Today, I stand before you not just as someone who overcame those insecurities, but as a coach dedicated to helping others rewrite their own stories and embrace their true potential. This journey taught me that confidence is built step by step, with patience and self-compassion, and it’s available to everyone willing to take that first step.
