About Anandhi
My journey in Carnatic music began at the tender age of six, deeply rooted in a family of passionate music lovers and seasoned professionals. Nurtured in this rich cultural environment, I was encouraged from an early age to pursue my passion for this classical art form. Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing on stage and further honing my skills by completing a Master's degree in Carnatic Music from the University of Madras. I have been teaching Carnatic music for over 7 years now with students from all around the globe. I am also currently teaching in-person classes in Auckland. I offer training across all levels—from foundational lessons to varnams, kritis, bhajans, and slokas—ensuring a comprehensive and traditional learning experience for my students. I predominantly teach in English. I also know Tamil.
Minimum 1 hour in person lessons per week for continued progression, with flexibility of online classes if more classes required through the week.
