About Marco

I am a musician and teacher graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, with several years of training and teaching experience of piano and music theory. I believe in the importance of learning to play an instrument as part of a more wholesome and thorough personal development.

I enjoy teaching music because it enables individuals to explore their creativity and express themselves. I focus and tailor lessons to the requirements and ambitions of each student and I can work, if desired, on preparing students for ABRSM exams.

About the lesson

The reasons for learning music are numerous and each student is different and unique, therefore I tailor the contents of the lessons according to the objectives and ambitions of each person, helping them to learn efficiently at their own pace.

Additionlly, the benefits of learning to play an instrument have been shown to bring about positive structural and functional changes in the brain, thanks to scientific studies on neuroplasticity carried in recent years. Learning music at any stage in life greatly enhances our personal development because the skills obtained from learning an instrument can also be applied to other daily activities.
