About Vanessa
I want to teach Indonesian because I believe that language is more than just words—it’s a gateway to understanding culture, connecting with people, and opening up new opportunities. Indonesian, with its simplicity and richness, is a language that can truly bring the diverse beauty of Indonesia closer to you, whether you’re interested in its bustling cities, stunning islands, or vibrant traditions.
Teaching allows me to share my passion for the Indonesian language and culture while empowering others to communicate confidently. Watching my students grow from hesitant beginners to fluent speakers is incredibly rewarding. I am fluent in Indonesian, with a strong grasp of both formal and informal language registers. My deep understanding of Indonesian culture enriches the lessons and provides context that enhances language retention.
