Children are the center of the learning process. As a mentor, I must adapt the ability of each learner to be an effective teacher.
In connection with this, I decided to apply an explicit strategy to give clear, guided instructions and more examples of activities to input the skill I want to develop. This teaching strategy focused on producing specific learning outcomes. It involves explanation, demonstration, and practice.
Moreover, this process will help the children to become actively aware of their learning through establishing a clear understanding about the given activities.
Indeed, a guided modelling activity ensure proper child fulfilment of learning outcome. This process develops the learner’s capability.
